The "bible" of diagnosis in the psychology/psychiatry world is the DSM-IV: the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Our joke around our house is that in this tome of shrinky-dinkdom (isn't a word, but oughta be) ;-) that our family (both sides) and kiddo's family (several generations) have their photos featured next to quite a number of the various disorders.

Which probably led to my major depression.

But I'm gettin' better. :-)
